Weird Cat Stories is a personal, single-user automation tool created and operated by an individual content creator. It publishes original, AI-generated short cat videos to the operator's own Instagram account (@garipkedihikayeler). It is not a commercial product, it is not offered to other users, and no one else can sign in to it.

Information the app accesses

The app accesses only the operator's own Instagram professional account, using access tokens granted by that account through Meta's official APIs. Specifically:

• The account's own profile identifier and username
• The ability to publish media (videos, images and stories) to that same account
• Basic status information about media it has published

Information the app does not collect

• No data about other Instagram users, followers, or visitors
• No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact lists
• No location data, device identifiers, or analytics/tracking data
• No payment or financial information

How information is used

Access tokens are used solely to publish the operator's own content to the operator's own account. Nothing is used for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making about people.

Storage and retention

• Access tokens are stored only on the operator's own personal computer, as local environment variables, and are never transmitted to any third party.
• Videos are generated locally. To publish them, a copy is temporarily uploaded to the operator's own Google Drive (required because Instagram's publishing API fetches media from a public URL) and is automatically deleted immediately after publishing.
• No database of personal data is maintained.

Sharing

No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties. The only external services involved are Meta (to publish content) and Google Drive (temporary media hosting, as described above), both used with the operator's own accounts.

Data deletion

Because the app stores no personal data about anyone other than its own operator, there is no user data to delete. The operator can revoke the app's access at any time from Instagram's Settings → Apps and Websites, which immediately invalidates all tokens. Any questions or deletion requests can be sent to the contact address below and will be answered within 30 days.

Content note

All published videos and images are original works generated with AI image and video models by the operator. They do not depict real, identifiable people.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
